In education, leadership is a key role. Leaders in education are influencing the way teachers teach and students learn. Leaders are made, not born. The MSET program makes students leaders in educational technology with classes that teach evaluating and researching new technology to successfully implement it in a classroom. I have already and plan to continue being a leader at my school by integrating new technology and sharing what I know with other staff members. I want to help promote technology in my school so it is used effectively and help others feel confident using the technology. Quality education all comes down to effective leadership, which I believe I have learned in this program.
